  1. What should I ask Woody Harrelson? Says:

  2. Carol Dean Says:

Being the great guy Woody is, I’d just ask him what eating raw has done for him, how long he’s been raw, is he 100% raw and is he ever tempted to go back and what is his favorite raw recipe. Oh one more thing, how does he handle going out with non-raw veggies.Simple!

  3. Larraine Says:

Hey Jim could you ask Woody what his favorite foods/dishes are? How about some movies incorporating the RAW food diet in them. (As in Sex and the City did a small segment where they went to a Raw Restaurant).

  4. Geniel Fife Says:

I am searching to find Athletes that are raw foodists. I would like to know about their performance before, during and after their excercuse. How long they have practiced this life style and what they would suggest for others who want to give up all amimal products, and eat mostly raw if not all raw fresh fruits and vegtables whole grains nuts and seeds. Thanks! I always enjoy your emails.
I’m a raw fooder and have been for about 7 years. I would like to read and learn more of Ann Wigmore. That will happen this summer perhaps - when life slows down a bit. /thank you for all your comments. Geniel

I really LIKE your RAW FOOD outlook. I had a 2000 Heart Attack on March 16, right after my 50th birthday, which was on January 2nd, 1950. I have a breakdown of the right side of my body, and had a 6 months off. I continued to work for four more years and quit in Dec. 2004, in San Francisco, CA as a Computer Specialist, for Wells Fargo Bank. I moved to Deming, NM in 2004 starting in April, 2004, and finally completed the manutactured and everything (electricity, telephone, propane, water, septic & air conditioner) needed in Dec. 2004, and retired. Now after 3.5 years I have started volunteer work for AARP New Mexico in 2008, and am looking at the International AARP, in drugs. I joined the elderly workout team with the Walkracing in Marck, 2008, Las Cruces, NM. I practice the RAW FOOD eating on a daily basis, I bought several seeds (25 Lbs/Each) and have lived on those seeds for about 1.5 years. I use one room in my for the sprouting out of these seeds. So Keep It Up…

    Hi Jim,
I was really disappointed when i could not get your first course.I have been an avid supporter of natural hygene for 30 years herbert shelton robert o young harvey diamond and many others have been on my reading list.My wife studies naturapathy and supports western price and his meat eating theory. As a result my health has deteriorated and i seek support and knowledge to change to a plant based diet.I want to prepare my own food and avoid the meat and cheese laden western diet.
I think it will save my life.keep up the good work!! and don’t listen to the knockers.

changing my lifestyle including my dietary habit is an exciting journey, learning lots and listening to my body respond to this new way of life. it is wonderful to learn, apply and share with others.

hi jim thank you for this available

  10. kristin Says:

I have been eating raw off and on for the past 2 years I started eating raw when I started getting dizzy spells and horrible hot flashes I think this was a result of taking care of my ill elderly parents for 7 years I am still taking care of my father. I hate to say openly but I am completely drained and burnt out. On the weekends at my father’s I find myself eating lots of sugar that has left for my father by my sister n’ law. I can see my energy level that was going strong from eating raw slowly being zapped. I could use encouragement, support and a refresher. I feel so much better with more energy when I eat raw. I would be very appreciative if I could have the help to me back in the right direction.
From burnt out care giver who needs some support

  11. Jane Says:

I believe in the raw food diet because I have tried it. I did not stay on it because I did not know enough about it. However, while on the diet and for a few weeks after I felt better than I ever have. I had boundless energy, felt wonderful and slept better than I ever have. I definitely think the raw food diet is the way to good health but one needs to be educated about it. Its too bad we aren’t taught this from the time we were babies.

  12. Julia Marble Says:

It is so exciting to hear more and more about people wanting to eat healthy, take care of the environment and share their new knowledge with others! I have been striving to eat vegetarian/vegan/and raw at times for three years –I do not like meat, but struggle in finding a proper balance in my diet. It is difficult here in Billings,Montana as we don’t have a lot of great resources, but it is getting better every day with more people requesting healthy foods.I hosted a Raw Potluck party in our city about a month ago. About 20 of us gathered to experience a Raw Potluck. It was really fun and the food was very good. For many it was their first introduction. I would love to learn more and continue to introduce and share what I learn with as many as possible. I PROMISE IF I RECEIVE YOUR FREE COURSE I WILL SHARE CONCEPTS WITH MANY PEOPLE AND WILL INTRODUCE THEM TO THE AMAZING WORK YOU ARE DOING,ALSO.(…well I’ll do the 2nd part anyway:-)I am truly considering learning enough and opening a RAW Restaurant. I actually managed a big restaurant in NYC a number of years back and have been visiting every Raw–vegan—vegetarian restaurant I can when I travel to get ideas. I read about Ann’s life and was so moved by her story and accomplishments. What a lady! Thank you for carrying on her work. Kindly,Julia

  13. Thea Says:

I have been broadcasting RAW FOOD and Wheatgrass Juice to colleagues at my office and would love to win this home study course for my daughter so she can share with her colleagues at her huge company.

The more of us that know and tell others about eating healthy the sooner there will be more kindness and compassion in this world.

  14. Sonya Says:

I would very much appreciate winning the Home Study Course to give to my sister who often thinks I am “out to lunch” eating raw. Slowly, ever so slowly she comes around bit by bit and I think this course would make a great difference in her life and many people around her that I know she would share it with. AFTER ALL, WHY KEEP A GOOD THING TO YOURSELF.

  15. william Says:

    Hello Jim;
I’m looking forward to the transition from cooked to raw and believe it’s the best move one can make to improve their overall health.
    Thanks,William

  16. Frieda Gelber Says:

    Dear Jim,

I would love to win the free raw food course to learn more principles and applications which I would use with my immediate and extended family as we have much dis-ease among us.

I keep foster children and also adopt them when possible and they come from malnourished, undernourished, drug and alcohol affected families, thus toxicity and deficiency at the start and deprived of breast feeding.

I have a son whose wrist bone is dissolving and he is going for bone fusion next month. He is praying for some health revelations in the hope of avoiding surgery. I would share this home study course with this son if I should win it.

  17. alex Says:

    jim,
interesting watching your video’s and seeing what raw food can do for our health.
heart attack followed by bone cell tumor l’m on the road back and just lack the expertise to apply the skills.
so a free raw food class is what it might take to set me on the road to good and better eating and wellbeing.

  18. Jeanette Says:

I don’t feel like I deserve a free study, after reading all these posts. It would be nice, I have an alcoholic husband, who is put on my raw food diet (by me) for detox, I have an 8 month old baby who I am going to raise as a raw vegan, and I have my mother who is living with us, and has arthritis. So, my intention is to put the whole family on this diet. I have been struggling with some addictions myself (coffee and sweets), but I am ready to take control. Just need a little help.

  19. susan Says:

    HI JIM,

Im so excited about learning more about raw food eating. I have read ann wigmore book on wheat grass and i think she is amazing. I have wanted to go to the hippocrates institute in west palm to learn more. It would be fantastic to have a chance to win your raw foods class!! Thanks for the chance to be the big winner.

    Susan

  20. Marj Says:

Jim: I was very excited to come onto this site. My interest in raw foods started a few years ago when I bought a copy of eating without heating. I had pains in my stomach and right side and have had no help finding the answer from a dr. I went on raw food and and saw a big change. I do find I have a hard time to stay on the raw food so I think a study course would really help me. As I live in an area where I am pretty much on my own and am not able to attend any courses I believe this is what I need. I do believe that a raw food diet is detrimental to my health because when I am not on raw food I do not feel well.

  21. Antionette Says:

I want to win the course for my son. He’s autistic, diabetic, is on psychiatric medications, and is unable to speak. He is also overweight. One of the greatest challenges is to get him to eat vegetables. I’ve been hearing a lot of information about the raw food diet on television. I would like to get my son to make the transition to the raw food diet and to get on the road to better health. It’s hard working with someone who can’t express himself. I’m sure that he has nutritional deficiences. Hes’s on at least 6 different medications and sometimes takes as many as 15 pills at one time. About to years ago my son’s life was in danger because he was on too many medications. The doctors kept him in the hospital for about a week and said that his kidneys were ok and that they were not damaged. He was taken off some of the medications. I feel that the raw foods diet can correct some of his problems and get him on the road to a healthy diet. I can also benefit from the raw foods diet as well as my 84 year old father who has high blood pressure and arthritis.

  22. Jeanne Boulier Says:

Thanks for the opportunity to learn about “Eating Raw.”
I met my friend who eats raw 95% of the time.. and he has encouraged me to change my diet. I was a coffee addict and have been able to reduce my intake to 1 cup a day.. Also, I have been eating seeds and nuts with fruit for breakfast..and juicing. At lunch I am eating salads. It’s that evening meal which gets me everytime… I am always hungry for something more.. when I am finally done for the day and want to relax… It’s junk food time then… I am gaining weight even though I exercise 3 times a week and ride my bike 3 miles a day at least. I need help getting and staying on track… I have always had a love affair with food. I at one time went on the Atkins diet and lost 12 pounds…. but didn’t feel good at all.. I want to feel good. I will be 64 soon and I want to keep my health as long as possible as I have seen many in my family pass with horrible diseases…. Please consider me for your contest. Thanks, Jeanne

  23. Mary Says:

I do not wish to be considered for the contest as there are many who are more in need of it than me but I do wish to say that I have read many good comments about you on other sites recently.
The world need more people like you who are prepared to put some effort in to making other people’s life better.
    Well Done.

  24. Joanne S Says:

WOW !!! I just ate some sugar and all of a sudden my knees were so painful ….processed sugar MUST be very bad for us !! EACH DAY I am finding out that this raw food lifestyle MUST be very good for us…
I am now listening to the phone call with Victoria and Jim. How interesting it is….Well, the call is over and it was most informative….Now if I could just find out how to make a green smoothie, I could get started.

  25. linda Says:

i am looking for ideas on what to eat that is raw

I have been Vegetarian since 1980 I would say within the last 10 years I have gone Vegan and since the first of March this year I have gone all raw. In 2001 I went to Hallelujah Acres to become a certified Health Minister and now teach 9 week classes on the basics of the raw food lifestyle and have 4 support groups a month in different locations in a 30 mile radis of my home. I now have two other ladies trained to help me as my Health Ministry has grown so much. If anyone wants to know the locations please email me. I live in Port Edwards, Wis. right in the center of the state.

Question for Jim or any one else that may know:
I have heard that juicing the clerey leaves in juice can be toxic? Is this true? I know it can cause the juice to be bitter but toxic? Really?
